According to the News Sources, The AP State Govt has sent proposals to the School Education Department to conduct 1 Examination (AP TERT) instead of 2 Exams, (TET and DSC). TERT Question Paper will be consisting of 250 Questions from TET and DSC Syllabus. TERT Syllabus is a mixture of TET and DSC Syllabus.

SGT and Equivalent Cadre: Candidates who are going to write SGT and Equivalent Cadre Exam, has to attend for TERT Paper 1 Exam. TERT Paper 1 Exam consists of 250 Questions for which 250 Marks will be awarded. TERT Paper 1 Exam's Time is 3 hours. School Assistants and Equivalent Cadre: Candidates who are going to write  School Assistants and Equivalent Cadre Exam, has to attend for TERT Paper 2 Exam. General Candidates has to get at least 60% Marks (150/250) to get qualified for TERT Paper 2 Exam. BC Candidates has to get 50% Marks (125/250) and SC/ST/PH Candidates has to get at least 40% Marks (100/250) to get qualified. AP State Govt will soon release AP TERT 2013 Notification. TERT 2013 will be conducted for 20,508 Teacher Posts of different cadre. SGT Posts: 16,287 School Assistants: 2,530 Language Pandit: 1,425 P.E.T: 264 and P.D: 02. The above vacancies are subject to change and depend upon Finance Department of AP State Govt approval.
